Lebanon has lost most of its forests and green areas during the civil war, but during peace it had lost even more due to greed, unmanaged construction, and forest fires.
The dancing tree project comes to create a series of events in different Lebanese rural area to replant wiped out forests and bring these land to their previous state. The project also focuses on the touristic aspect of these towns. This is why we palnt trees, drink eat and dace to music. Food and drinks are offered by the people of the villages to create some benefit.
In 2016 we planted 300 cedar trees in Mayrouba, and in 2017 we planted 600 pine trees in Hammana. We are planning to plant 1000 trees in Tanourine Area next year!!!
